Few solutions for Connection Error in Play Store
Check your date and time: Well, I tried this thing with my friend’s phone and yes that was the exact problem. His phone was set to some different date and when I fixed it, Play store start opening again like normal. So this can be issue with your phone too, so first check your date and time.
Clear data from setting: If date and time is not the issue, then go to settings > applications manger > all application. Find out Google play store in the list and clear all data and cache from it. Then just restart your phone. This might solve your issue.
You can also try out uninstalling latest updates from the same place application manager. If some issue happens during updating the app, this will solve it.
So this is it. I am sure one of the above tricks will solve your issue too. If still not working, then I guess last resort is to factory reset the phone, but better backup the data before that. Have fun.
