AT&T holds the exclusivity on the dust and water resistant Samsung Galaxy S4 Active for the United States.The phone was unveiled earlier this month and its worldwide availability will start with the US and Sweden.
AT&T has been taking pre-orders since June 14 with a promised shipping date June 21. As it turns out though AT&T started shipping the Galaxy S4 Active yesterday, which is two days ahead of schedule, and many users are already using the tough smartphone.
AT&T website is still taking pre-orders though it now says those will be fulfilled on June 19.
Other markets will launch the Galaxy S4 Active later this summer.
